Pony Island Run

This story is a family adventure about a NYC social worker, FRANNIE FOSTER who protects a twelve-year-old boy, TRAVIS LOPEZ, a street kid from the Bronx, by fleeing with him to her forsaken childhood home. They escape to Chincoteague Island, Virginia, a place where Frannie has not returned to since she was twelve.Their adventure continues with wild pony roundups, Saltwater Cowboy aspirations and wrestling bitter-sweet memories. With the help of her lively grandmother and a renewed romance with her childhood sweetheart, HANK HOPEWELL, Frannie begins to know what it really means to be home.
